Valley Chimney Sweep & Restoration has been servicing the fireplaces and chimneys of Wheaton, IL for over three decades. We are happy to travel to and work in the seat of DuPage County where most of the older homes along the tree-lined streets of the downtown feature working fireplaces or woodstoves. Many of those homes require not only an annual chimney sweep inspection, but we also complete many chimney restoration projects in Wheaton, as well. We also can help you convert your wood burning fireplace to a gas one
Wheaton is a community with a long and colorful history. First settled in 1837 by brothers Jesse and Warren Wheaton and later incorporated in 1859, Wheaton became the home of DuPage County government in 1868 after two hard fought referendum votes that moved the county seat from Naperville. As county records were transferred from Naperville to Wheaton, Civil War veterans from Naperville staged a midnight raid and seized many of the important records. The records were moved to Chicago for safekeeping, and were later destroyed in the Chicago Fire of 1871. After a long court battle, Wheaton was finally declared the county seat the same year.
Today, Wheaton is home to about 53,000 residents, and in 2013 was ranked as the No. 6 best place to live in Illinois.
If your Wheaton home needs a chimney sweep, our locally owned family business is more than qualified to complete the job. We schedule appointments Monday through Saturday. Though we try our best to schedule an appointment as quickly and conveniently as possible for you, during our busy season (approximately September through February), openings may be backed up from 2 weeks to 1 month. For this reason, we encourage our repeat customers to consider Forward Scheduling chimney cleanings during the spring and summer months.
