Before & After Chimney Crown Repair

Our crew at Valley Chimney just finished this chimney repair in Naperville, IL. When we started, the chimney crown was heavily rusted and the chimney wasn’t watertight causing problems inside the home. After seeing the damage, we got straight to work and starting pouring a new cement chimney crown and replaced the patio stones on the chimney shoulders. We replaced the slabs with new overhanging limestone slabs to update the chimney to look modern and be more watertight.

In the end after the waterproofing the chimney, replacing the chimney crown, and a fireplace cleaning we delivered exactly what our client wanted. Those little touches and updates really made the chimney more watertight and overall improved the appearance of their home.
