Before & After Masonry Chimney Repair

During a routine chimney cleaning for a “Chimney Sweep for Life” member, we realized their chimney was starting to crumble apart. We spoke with the owners and decided together that a masonry rebuild was the best solution.  Our crew quickly started working to completely rebuild and install a new flashing to the chimney. Upon closer examination, we realized their chimney was constructed with interior grade bricks in the 70’s that couldn’t stand up to the weather. We showed our clients a matching brick color that was intended for exterior usage, got their approval and finished up the job.

We ended up completely repairing the masonry work around the chimney, replacing the chimney crown, and replaced the patio stones on the chimney. The chimney is now safely ready for many more years to come.
